Another mixture of new/recycled disemvowellings… [Linked Image]

Remove one vowel from the first answer to give the second. Do not rearrange any of the remaining letters. If necessary, remove any hyphens or inverted commas as needed. (And remember it was compiled by a Brit!)

Rog, for #3 were you looking for waver/ wave? Weave and waver are synonymous so either works. duh

See your point, Cheryl - I was thibking of "weave" as a verb meaning to move forward from side to side, and "wave" as a noun meaning a large amount of something, but yes, they could be regatded as synomyms
