-1. Awfully glum around old 2, perhaps (5)

-2. Advert that is plugged by broadcasting tycoon (11)

-3. 2 to live north of Australia, turning south (5)

-4. 2 with desert rodent (7)

-5. Casual work of 2 on rum (3,4)

-6. Time after meal for 2 (7)

-7. Publication listing 2s, targeted at elite, mostly (6)

-8. Perhaps 2s from North America with old money (6)

-9. Unknown fool losing head with composer that's a 2 (10)

-10. Ticks off Conservative 2 drinking wine (10)

-11. Boy about to limit 2's bid (2,6)

12. 2 holding up flag for novelist (4,7) I... ....... - definition on right (this was a down clue)

As usual, being all heart, I am giving you the first and last letters in alphabetical order HI (with any luck these may even be correct...)

Feel free to grab a couple as there are probably more than enough to go round among the crossword fans. catrub
