Thank you for the great breakfast Connie. I was famished this morning.

I've been working on the deck all week, and I still have a lot of work to do. It looks great though. I finished putting up all the handrails yesterday. I still have to add the skirt around the base, and go back and finish scraping and painting......something I should have finished to begin with.

I was too anxious to see the handrails up.

I also mowed the lawn yesterday.

I actually enjoy sitting out on my deck now.

Day before yesterday we got up to 91 degrees, and I struggled with it. Yesterday we dropped back down into the 70s, Yaaaaa! Today is cooler, and tomorrow is cooler. Hopefully I can finish the deck before the heat returns.

I'm always complaining about this backwater place that I live being the armpit of America, but Bryan county still has only 3 confirmed cases of Covid 19, and I count myself as fortunate with all the trips I make to Walmart and Lowe's. I did wear a mask the last time I went to Walmart, and I do get concerned about who was handling my groceries before I bought them. I wash my apples with soap and water before eating them.
