You beat me to it! As far as copying and pasting to a game folder, that may or may not work. Sometimes game saves are in some strange places. You'd need to find where the existing games are located first. Sometimes it's in the game folder and sometimes it's not! Not much of an answer, but that's why I asked which game.

The general rule for adding a save is to paste the unzipped saves into the game save folder. You located it and that's the hard part. With most games it is required that saves be in sequential order using the same naming format as existing saves in the folder. Example present saves are named 001.sav and your last save is 009.sav then you will have to rename the acquired save 010.sav.

Not all games require sequential order but most do. Also if it is a two file save (some games use that format) one of those would be an icon that shows up when you "Load Save" Be sure to use the same format and rename both using the same number. If this game uses this format you can see that by looking at your list of saves. It is possible you can run into a weird circumstance as in the old Tex Murphy games. To make borrowed saves work you could not simply rename and paste. Those blasted games required you to make a new save then rename your save giving it the name of the save you just created and paste the one you made over it. The computer asks you if you want to overwrite and you say yes and the stupid thing works.

You can't imagine what I went through to figure that out. I've never seen anything like it. For the games I've reviewed on this site I make a point to tell where they hid the saves. Sometimes it takes longer to locate the saves than play the entire game. There is no rhyme or reason to where these game makers stick them.

Hope this helps.
