Hi.

Not sure of best place to post this. I was checking my home emails here at work on my lunch time and found a phony email from Amazon. Below is what I sent to Amazon to bring this to their attention.

I just want to inform you of an email I received today from Amazon.com address "delivers@amazon.com" with a subject line of "Alert: Order report "cancel"". It references Order HV3581610 which was supposedly placed on 1/16/15. It says " order details and invoice in download file" and there is a button to press to download. Of course, I did not do this but somebody may, not realizing it is not a true email from Amazon.

Please watch if you are an Amazon customer.

Jackie

I got one of those a few months back and it was very confusing since I HAD ordered something and was waiting for it to arrive. I checked Amazon (my signon) and saw the order was indeed OK and on it's way to me)It was delivered the next day. Definitely a scam notice to you oldbroad. Glad you were careful and didn't do the download bit. I didn't either. Always suspicious of things that require me to go to some other place. I even refuse to open my sister's links because she never checks and I've gotten 'things' from her emails. Ugh. Thanks for the heads up.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

There are way too many bad people in the world today. What a way to make a living ripping off other people. frown
