I've solved all the puzzles on Myst Island in realMyst, and I'm ready to start tackling the ages. Except the Organ Puzzle in the Spaceship. I've got the voltage set correctly, and I understand what needs to be done to solve the puzzle and open access to the linking book in the Spaceship. But the problem is the mechanics of setting the sliders. Try as I might I cannot get them set correctly. I know what I want to do, I just can't do it.

If someone has a saved game for realMyst where a new game has been started and only the Spaceship Organ Puzzle has been solved and the Selenitic Age linking book is available, that would be really great.

I'm running the GOG version of realMyst for Windows, and it's NOT the Masterpiece Edition of realMyst. It's the regular version.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Craig, I removed your email address from your post in order to protect you from possible lurkers/spammers.

Hopefully someone will have a saved game for you and/or be able to provide you with some advice on how to get through the sliders. wave

CraigR, have you tried moving the sliders up by counting the tones?

From left to right: 8-20-23-13-6

And do not forget that the bottom tone is the first one.

Good luck.

Is the saved game transferrable?
There is a save in Mystery Manor's Save Game Database.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I've been busy with work lately, and haven't had a chance to get online.

I've tried for hours to get the sliders in the right positions. I've tried counting tones, but I can't precisely drag the slider to move it tone by tone. If I could use up/down cursor keys I'm sure I could do it. I'd already looked up the numbers for each slider. So I know what needs to be done. It's just the mechanics of the puzzle that's the problem.

I'll check Mystery Manor to what I can find. Thanks!!

The save game from Mystery Manor worked perfectly. Problem solved. Thank you!!
