A woman's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months, yet she stayed by his bedside every single day.

When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer.

As she sat by him, he said, "You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you gave me support. When my health started failing, you were still by my side... You know what?"

"What dear?" She asked gently.

"I think you bring me bad luck."

Good morning everyboomie. welcome

My my my what a long day! shocked

It was a good one though, and it was FRIDAY!!! penguin

I started work at 5:00, got off at 2:00, came home and ate a snack, changed clothes, put a new blade on my mower, and spent the next three hours mowing, trimming, and cleaning up the yard. razz

Saturday is like a 'trash off day' here. They will haul off any amount of trash you put out, so I put out some stuff that was left over back behind the storage shed, and some old fencing, and some trees that I cut down. It's great to clean out and tidy up the yard. bravo

Hard work though for an old man, and I am spent. tired

I think I'll sleep good tonight. sleep

Have a happy day all. thumbsup

I'm slow moving this morning. tired

I had my breakfast, and now I've sat down for some sipping and surfing with my first cup of coffee. yes

The first of many. wink

I'm watching to see if we're going to get rain today, but it doesn't look like it on the radar. Tonight and tomorrow though our chances jump to 80% & 90% for strong storms and rain. shocked

I just want to water in the weed & feed I put on the yard. happydance

I'm glad that I got all of that yard work done yesterday though. bravo

Gotta go. I'm out of coffee.

Have a great day everyone. rah

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

The rest of the family was good and got up early and went to the boys soccer game. I didn't sleep well last night so when hubby tapped me, I murmured something rude, put a pillow over my head, and went back to sleep.

They should be home any second. Today is bookkeeping day for me. Seems like that day rolls around way too often.

Joe, wish we had a haul away day here. The city will haul yard debris away if it meets their standard. Pieces have to be cut to a certain length, etc, but there is no specific day. You put it out and they do it whenever. They won't take anything else though.

We are planning to take in a baseball game tonight. We wanted to go last night but the weather did a foolie. Rained all the way up til we said, "Ok folks, it's a no go" and then stopped. lol

Off to get stuff done while the house is quiet wave

edit: Quiet all gone rotfl

Well, I was going to say Good Morning but it is too late. So, Hi everyone.

This has not been a good week for me. Last Saturday, I went in for a routine Sinus Balloon procedure to open my sinus. What was supposed to be 30 minutes turned out to be about 2 hours. Had a bad deviated septum and he had to cut a flap of skin off so he could get to the septum. He said it was the worst he has ever seen. Should have been done in the hospital but didn't know all this until he got in there. Then, yesterday my nose tried to bleed out and it took me about 3 hours to get it stopped. I guess a blood clot broke loose. Anyway, it was a mess. See the doc on Tuesday. At least I can breathe now, though still a little tired. Oh yeah, fun and games.

The weather has been nice except for all the rain we have been getting. Bill is out mowing. Dried off enough in places to mow.

Well, I need to go put laundry away and vac the living room.

Hope everyone has nice weather.

Bets wave

Oh Bets! That sinus procedure stuff sounds horrible. Ick. Hope you are feeling better and healing fast.

Taking an easy day today. Not lifting boxes of heavy china and stuff and only going to print the pictures of all the goodies. It should be quite a long day after I get to the 'inventory' listing of all of it. I want to be sure that whoever buys or sells it for me, won't be ripping me off for things, thinking I don't know what I have. Yup.

Still nothing to report on the empty house across. Sorta's Neighborhood is getting boring.

Off to print.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

How do everyone. wave

Just got up from a nice nap. Spent this morning doing cleaning and then sat down and did my tax return. yay

After taking Baby out for a trek around the block I layed down......and here I am. grin

It's been a gorgeous day. Cloudy most of the morning, sunny the rest of the day. bravo

Bets I feel for you. I had surgery for a deviated septum. One of the worst things I've been through is having your sinuses packed solid with with cotton rope for a week, and then having it pulled slowly out. taz

They took xrays and said either my sinuses above my eyes were packed solid, or they never developed, so they had to go in and scrape them, cut out my deviation, and go in under my eyes and drill holes in those cavities, so they would drain easier. razz

Lovely proceedure, yes.... rolleyes

I hope everyone is having a super day. yes

joe

Ouch Joe. Other then the fact that I didn't have the packing, he used the balloon to clear the sinuses. The sinuses in back were packed too. My procedure was done in the office as Doc didn't know it was this bad. I feel a lot better tonight.
