I have the physical copy of this, which I am replaying. The game installed and is running fine, but it won't save. I have restarted the game 3 times now. When I want to save, I click on an empty save slot, type in the save, click enter, and this takes me back into the game to continue playing if I wish. But when I quit the game and go back in to load my save, there is nothing there. It just shows all the slots are empty, and where there should be a little picture of my save, is just a white square that says no image available. I am running windows 7 64 bit professional.

Some things to try...

• Right-click the shortcut and choose "run as administrator"
• Reinstall the game in a folder Windows doesn't consider a "protected" location...
  In other words, don't install in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86).
• Try running the game in compatibility mode.
