Hi there,

I find myself stuck, not sure if I missed some clues or what. Two things I am trying to do without success are 1) opening the door in the bunker (I do have a handle on it that turns) and 2) opening a box at the central station. I also can't open 1 cabinet door at Harri's summer house because the key doesn't work in that one and I can't use the firewood and paper in the summer house because it is already too hot and nothing else goes in the stove/chimney.

I prefer a hint/nudge rather than an answer if that is possible. I scribbled down all the locations I have open and all my inventory items but I can barely read what I wrote. Let me know if you need me to list that stuff. I'm off to bed now though.

Thank you.

Hi oldbroad,

Is this the green door in the bunker? Check top right of the door, Carol should comment. Then think what you might be able to use/combine to solve that problem.

For the box at the central station, is this the green box inside the locker? The clue is in Harri's apartment. But you might not be able to do this until close to the end of the game.

For the cabinet at the summerhouse, which key are you trying to use? There is one to be found somewhere in the summerhouse.

If memory serves, most of the things you mention is too early to complete.
The door in the bunker is probably the thing to focus on. If it's the handle you have cleaned,
I Think it might just be that you don't klick on the small button on the door between turns?
Does any of that sound familiar?

Edit: If you just click on the journal once you can get an overview of what you should do.

Thanks, RebKean. smile

My memory of this game is rusty. Let us know how you get on, oldbroad.

Well I might be wrong. I know the game pretty good I Think, but it's not easy to remember details just like that. However, the journal is a great help, and if you don't want to know exactly what to do, you just look at the left column without clicking on it.
That's better than relying on my memory, hehe.
Someone else might dive in here an fill out the blanks. =)

Thanks Rushes and RebKean.

It was the green door in the bunker and I had already used the brush on it and had been clicking on the small button. I just had not been reading the whole clue properly. I did figure it out tonight and opened up some new areas.

I guess I meant to say locker at central station (not box). In my mind I kept calling it a lock box. I have not yet figured out how to open the locker. Maybe now that I'm moving forward I'll find something to help me with that.

The cabinet in the summer house has 3 doors. The key from the bread box opens 2 of them but does not work on the far right side.

As long as I'm moving again I'll wait to see if I need any more help.

Nice to hear that you enjoyed it, oldbroad. I'm glad that Mikael is working on another Carol Reed game. smile
