I have been thinking about installing Firefox browser, but am not sure about the stub installer. Does anyone here have any thoughts pro or con?

It makes little difference if you use a "stub" installer or a full installer if you have a good Internet connection that can keep up with the installation.

If you want the full installer, go here and choose the English version for your operating system

Jenny, I tried to d/load from your link and it said I needed Win 7 or above, but when I looked at the requirements it showed Vista.
Did I misunderstand?

I didn't see that message, but I'm not using Vista.
Did you try downloading the 32-bit version?
It may be that only the 32-bit version is supported on Vista.
32-bit programs should run on 64-bit versions of Windows.
