We are missing a couple of things.. You say you have Windows Professional Service Pack. Windows Pro what? This computer is listed at Amazon as having XP Pro on it... is that what you have? Also what does Belarc say it has for a video card or chip?
This computer is also listed as having Intel GMA 3100 integrated graphics which are not enough to play either of these games even if you did get them installed. They both list system requirements of at least a GeForce 210.

In Belarc, under operating system, not XP Pro. The only other thing it says is (build 7601). Under drives, it says and before that, HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCCH30N ATA Device {optical drive}. There is not a separate mention of "Drivers". Also - Intel(R) Q35 Express Chipset Family{Display Adapter}(2X)
I have a Nvidia driver I could install if that would help. I got it quite some time ago but maybe? It's a 6200 I think. (If not for the Nancy Drew Games - then maybe other less demanding ones?

But does it specify WHAT operating system? Vista? Windows 7? I looked up build 7601 and it says it might be Windows 7. Since this quite an old computer, it may have been upgraded from XP or Vista at some time.
That Q35 Express Chipset is your integrated video... which will not play either of those Nancy Drew games.
A driver is a bit of computer code which allows your devices to communicate with the operating system. It is not a piece of hardware.
Do you mean you have an Nvidia video card? Some of these old Dell office computers were slim lines and it's hard to know if another card could be installed. The one Optiplex I worked on a long time ago had a 150 watt power supply, so if that's the case, the power supply probably would also need to be upgraded. As I remember, the motherboard had such old sockets for RAM, I couldn't even upgrade the memory without paying out the wazoo for RAM that is no longer manufactured.
It's really questionable to try to upgrade such an old computer. I'm afraid if you can't get a new computer, you will be relegated to old games. Which is not necessarily a bad thing!

It would all depend on what your budget is! As an example, if you had eCollegePC build you a custom gaming computer (they can generally build one for nearly as cheap as if you did it yourself, this would be a good mid-range computer for adventure games. This one comes to $858 with free shipping. This also assumes you would use your old monitor, keyboard and mouse. I put in Windows 10, but if you want to play both old and new games, you can still put Windows 7 on this computer. Microsoft will only be supporting Windows 7 until 2020 though.

Microsoft will only be supporting Windows 7 until 2020 though. But by 2020, you'll probably be needing a new computer anyway -- at least to play the latest 2020 games. And it's not like Windows 7 will stop working in 2020.
