I am replaying Nancy Drew: Danger on Deception Island. I have also started Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire.

I am replaying Haunting of Castle Malloy and starting Kentucky Route Zero. I'm not as immersed in either as I would like to be because I just finished Pandora Directive for the first time ever, and I am jonesing big time for Tex Murphy. I played Tesla Effect recently also. Great game. I'll check out Song of Seven.

I'm replaying the Dracula Series, recently finished Last Sanctuary and taking a break before starting Path of the Dragon.

Just completed (but am still working on a dance move) Mata Hari for the first time. I really enjoyed it. I had left a dance inspiration in my inventory that I hadn't tried the dance out yet before I finished the game last night so today I went in, replayed the end which I usually do, and tried this dance move. Haven't gotten it yet though, keep getting booed. If I ever get it and it raises my points enough I may replay end again to see if I get a different ending.

Also today, started the 3rd game in casual series Echoes of the Past.

Need to get back to Technobabylon, awesome game but seemed to never quite have time to get into it properly.

Just finished Witcher 3 DLC Blood and Wine and now am about to dive into Kathy Rain, ABC Murders and Day of the Tenticle remastered.

I'm continuing my re-play of Mystery of the Druids as my "Adventure" - after interrupting it to give Kathy Rain a go.

My current "Casual" is Amaranthine Voyage : Winter Never Ending.

And my RPG is the excellent Risen 3 : Titan Lords.

Lifestream, new version....

Jack Keane. It is nice and all that, but it doesn't grab me somehow. I mean, some games I can play for hours and still looking forward to continue later on, but not this one.

I'm playing the new Sherlock. Very similiar to the previous one except for new cases and some pesky challenges, some can be skipped but one involving a chase through the forest can't. Hope there's not too many of those.

Not really playing anything of substance right now. I am tinkering with all those free "Escape" games especially the Abandoned location ones.

Some are well made and kind of hold interest for the short term.

Last actual game I played was Armikrog but I didn't finish it - a little disappointed with it.

I just finished Anna's Quest, which I very much enjoyed. I've started The Night of the Rabbit but it's not really grabbing me. I downloaded Demetrios--the BIG Cynical Adventure but have not yet even opened it. I'm missing Anna and Ben...

I'm playing Adventure Island by Elen Heart, free game from Zodiac site. I gotta say this has a lot of fun, sometimes very challenging puzzles and many interesting locations.

On the lighter side, Steel Life, reminiscent of The Tiny Bang Story. Loving it!

I have been replaying the Syberia games, getting ready for the new one!

Just saw the page. currently replaying The Longest Journey, The Dig, Tesla Effect and Timelapse. So many games because I'm partially recovered (less pain) from broken arm and dislocated shoulder. Happy days, happy days!

I've just finished Gomo and Puzzle Agent, and I'm about half way through The ABC Murders.

I'm a day early for this, but tomorrow, I'm starting Book 5 of Dreamfall Chapters. When I get home from work tomorrow, I'm going to lock myself away and focus on nothing but the game. I'm even postponing watching the Orphan Black season finale for this, so it's a big deal.

Gone darkside with Mass Effect trilogy for the millionth time while waiting for Sherlock Devil's Daughter. Just finishing ME3 and hope all this action will prepare me for Sherlock.

The one game that has actually captured my attention and refused to let it go recently is Auralux: Constellations. It's a strategy game, and it's terrific. (If anyone wants to play multiplayer sometime hit me up with your Steam name.)

I really want an adventure game to grab me again. Though Demetrius had me hooked until I completed it.

Playing Aveyond 4, didn't realize it had come out already and was so excited when I saw it on Big Fish!

Currently downloading Dreamfall Chapters Book 5 - Hooray!! Recently replayed the original Dreamfall and loved it all over again, not too sure about replaying TLJ seeing I played it 3 or 4 times a few years ago, although I loved that, the one thing that was annoying was the amount of dialogue to wade through.

Not sure either whether to just play Book 5 of Chapters or start the whole thing over again - what are others doing?

I've read the forum almost daily but not written anything for a long time.

I'm currently playing Fallout 4 (FO4) which may take several months for me to complete! Before it I played Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (ACS). So I've been on the dark side for a long time already. Waiting for the Last Crown: Blackenrock to get published and the price of the Sherlock Holmes: Devils's Daughter to get lower to return among adventures with less action. Playing ACS in Victorian London felt so real with great graphics and sound, like an interactive movie. I wish there would be non-action and puzzle filled adventures with similar qualities, but I'm afraid the genre limits the audience too effectively to make them any financial success compared to investments needed.

Absolutely! This isn't the type of game genre's I typically play but I love this series and the developer's style.

I'm replaying all the CSI games, even CSI Miami. I just love these games.

I've paused playing casual games to play Tesla Effect. It's really good. When I finish this I think I'll try another of my games on GOG. I've got so many and very few played.

I decided to play Syberia again. Next to Dreamfall, it is my all time favorite game ever! It's been quite a while since I played it. This will be my 4th time. I rarely play a game more than once, but I love going back and visiting with Kate and Oscar and Hans again.

Those older games sure do hold the test of time, don't they?

I'm currently playing The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. If the achievements are any indication, it looks like I'm about halfway through. My adventure backlog is a bit mountainous, but I'm chipping away at it. On the multiplayer side of things, it's been Endless Legend, Tabletop Simulator (with Steam Workshop mods), and Tom Clancy's The Division.



I have similar feelings about The Division. The graphics and sound design are stunning. The story, characters, and subplots are so intriguing that I would love to see more chapters and missions about them. Especially if they could add some deeper puzzle interaction than just "hold 'F' to [insert task here]". But, like your AC:S example, it's trapped in genre expectations.

I'm currently exploring some of the new GOG games that I acquired (some free, some purchased) on Sunday. I like Under a Killing Moon and think Sam and Max Hit the Road is hilerical. I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, based on a Harlan Ellison short story, is terrifying. Haven't settled on any one game, but in Sam and Max I can't get the hang of "using Max". Sam seems to do most of the talking.

I just finished Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment and now playing The Devil's Daughter. I'm loving it so far The action sequences are quite fun and the story is really interesting. I'm also playing through Space Quest again (thanks GOG.com!)

Using a cheat book, I am playing both Under a Killing Moon by Access Software and Sam and Max Hit the Road by Lucas Arts. I'm not very good at adventure games but I love to play them. I like the LOL humor in Sam and Max, although in Chapter 2 of the game, while controlling Sam, in the Carnival when playing the Whack a Rat game, I keep whacking Max instead of the rats. Fun, though.

I love replaying all three games of Black Mirror but the game for me right now is Infra. Great story and beautiful scenery. A bit spooky but not too difficult. Only part one is out now but the second part should be coming along soon.

I've played Sanitarium on Steam as my CD sits on my shelf too. The game played fine I think a little bit of reloading to get the final puzzle to play correctly but otherwise what a crazy storyline.

Yes. Sanitarium and John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles were both excellent horror themed games. And I replay both from time to time

I had been out of action for a while (from July 1-6, 2016) because of a BSOD on my laptop with which I didn't know what to do. I gave the computer to a friend of mine to fix. He also installed and configured DOSBOX and installed a couple of games for me, including Descent I, Leisure Suit Larry Casino, and Leisure Suit Larry 1: Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (the 1987 original EGA, command-line version by Sierra). I am currently playing LSL 1; Beneath a Steel Sky; Indiana Jones IV: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis; and Sam and Max Hit the Road (which is hilarious).

I started playing Blackwell Legacy with venus yesterday. It seems to be interesting, and from what I've heard, it's not a very long game. I'm looking forward to playing the other Blackwell games, too.

I love this series. The characters are some of my favorites.

I'm really pleased that you are enjoying my game. I'm not currently playing any games as I'm working on a new first person puzzle game. The last two games I played, earlier this year, were "Dream" (interesting but ultimately disappionting, I felt) and "Cliffhouse", which - like mine - was made with the Adveture Game Studio.

Haven't been around this part of the site in ages, but have been on a Nancy Drew binge for a couple of months now, and right now I'm playing Labyrinth of Lies AND switching over (back and forth) to Sea of Darkness. I LOVE these games but I have to say that as far as recent ones I've played, the Silent Spy is my new "favorite".

Don't know if it's okay to mention Darkside games in this section, but I'm also playing Witcher 3 and Bloodborne! (and they are FANTASTIC!!)
