Yes, this Nancy Drew game, #2 in the adventure game series, was discontinued years ago by Her Interactive due to incompatibilities with newer computers. It was re-released today as a digital download, with instructions to follow that will get the game running on Windows 7/8/10. You can check it out here. A new trailer has been created, as well. I was very pleased to see that the game has been resurrected. Thanks for posting this, family.

you are welcome, but it is the digital , some of us have the disk and it doesn't work on window 8, nor secrets can kill. I am reading that if you follow the instructions for the digital download and use them to install the disk version, that the disk version should now work. I don't know if it would work with the original Secrets Can Kill or not.

I'm not sure how much of the procedure for installing the download version can be transferred to running the disc version. For one thing, the disc version had 2 CD's, and would call for the 2nd CD at some point while you're playing. I'm not sure how well this disc change would work on Windows 7/8/10. The download version wouldn't require the 2nd disc. They mention a problem with onboard sound at http://www.herinteractive.com/2016/08/nancy-drew-2-stay-tuned-for-danger-installation/Nearly everyone has onboard sound these days, while most people had some sort of separate sound card back in 1999. Their "solutions" are to buy a sound card or update drivers (as if any motherboard manufacturer would care about supporting a 17 year old adventure game).

Is this just a re-release...or did they full out remaster like with Secrets Can Kill.
I have all of the games in disc form, so would this be the same as my original copy of STFD?

it is a digital release, if you have the original secrets can kill and stay tune for danger, you are going have to buy a window xp computer, i brought a laptop to play both, my window 8 computer keep saying we change the way we sound, nothing work on it, it was worth the money for my window xp laptop.
