I have, temporarily, run out of games to buy. So went back to my older games and was surprised how much games have changed. Am so used to transporting maps, etc. I didn't realize how different the new/newer games have improved. Thank goodness!

It's good to have that perspective, isn't it? The older ones were much heavier on the hidden object scenes than the ones now, too. I don't mind hidden object scenes, but not one every other screen.

Sometimes I like to play straight hidden object games. I find them relaxing even if they're on a timer. Probably better with a timer because they might get boring other wise.

Yes, I occasionally play a straight hidden object game too. In general, I prefer the HOPAs. Some of the older HOPAs had a lot of hidden object screens and most of them don't have that many anymore.

When I am really tired, though, a straight hidden object game can be just the thing. wave

Relaxing when on a timer ?? eek

Anything "on a timer" makes me panic too much to enjoy it !! lol

Most timers do the same to me Mad (like in Nancy Drew games, one of which just made me crazy ) but they do perk up a straight hidden object game. crazy

Well to be honest, oldbroad, straight hidden object games aren't my choice - even without a timer.
So with one it would be a "lose, lose" situation for me !! lol
