Hi,

has any of you any experience buying or activating and using games directly from Telltale?

Today I bought "The Walking Dead: Michonne" from Humble Store and my purchase covers game keys for both Steam and Telltale.

I think Steam is my first choice to download and install the game since my previous seasons are from there too.

But does any of you know if I could mix Steam and Telltale installations together in theory and continue the story from season 2 played on Steam with Michonne from Telltale and get it to read my previous game progress and choices made on Steam?

Also, do you know how games bought from Telltale or activated using game key from other source work? Is there a client that needs to be on to run the game or do you just download installation file and install the game where and whenever you want to?

I rely some of you already has some information and experience.

I found this on the Telltale website.

I got a free game from Telltale once and there was no game client involved - just install and play. Unless they have changed something since, I assume it works the same way now.

My Tell Tale games were never connected to anything other the game as well.
