Another walkthrough says this: Pick up the remote control from the floor at your left side near the bottle. Are you able to locate it that way?

yes all of the above. I think i got it now - just about to activate Monda's office..  yes to all above now just about to activate Mondra's office.so i think it all good now.

Study the controller picture above. See that top left arrows control the side to side. The top right arrows control the forward and back. You can drive the ship.

Maybe try a different walkthrough? I found this: Place Le-Clyi-Lercyi model ship in the shaft. You immediately see the remote control of the ship in the picture. Study it.
- The orange arrows on the left you can to the right and left.
- The orange arrows on the right you can go forward or
backward.
- lets you model ship with the round orange button on the left
to explode.
- The round orange button on the right will ship it back
into your inventory and you can start again.
- If the ship passes through the shaft, see you in the middle of the
remote white-blue arrows. They indicate the possible directions that you can follow.
The idea is that you fly into space with explosives through the shaft with the ship. There you can provide enough noise to lure the security man in his place.
Slide your cursor to the right of your screen and the combined map of the Lab appears. Left click and
it disappears.
Find a route to the center of the room with "explosives".
Each square is one step forward (or backward).
One possible route is:
- 3 times to the front - 1 times to the right
- 4 times forward - 1 times to the left
- 7 times forward - 1 times to the right
- 12 times forward - 1 times to the left
- 3 times forward
Rhodan now says he is in the middle of the explosives area.
Push down on the left-hand round orange button, and the model ship creates an explosion, wherein the door is popping out of the seams. This was a walkthrough I had to run through a translator - it was in a different language.

ok good up to i get up/down and right arrow click again,now when i use the right arrow on the left side controller it shows the arrows lt/rt and every time i use the the lt/rt arrow i get the same thing.odd ??

No it is not odd.  You turned right so the view of the ship is different. Now you have to decide where you want to go. Forward or back. Here's the step by step. Use the forward arrow 3 times. (you've done this already) Turn right once. (you've done this already) Forward 4 times. (you are here now) Turn left once. Forward 7 times. Turn right once. Forward 12 times. Turn left once. Forward 3 times. Perry says that it is now directly above the explosives. Detonate.

like i said befor when i try to use the left controller to go lt/rt i get the same thing over and over , the center controller arrows go left and right .and i go no where.but i can head it clicking .is this odd ?

From what Jenny said - sounds like a random puzzle. So - you have to move a square at a time. Check the map and see the best way to go where you want to be. Check where you can go by the arrows-exits at the center and go from there. You want to go to the explosives.

You have to experiment a little. For example starting at
"Forward 4 times. (you are here now)" --
Back up once, turn left, and see if you can proceed.
If that doesn't work, start at
"Forward 4 times. (you are here now)" and
Go forward once, turn left, and see if you can proceed.
If that's not possible, try starting from
"Forward 4 times. (you are here now)" and
Back up once, turn right, and see if you can proceed.
etc.
Trial and error. Just keep track of what doesn't work.
