First it was rock n roll legend Check Berry dying on March 18th at age 90. Now its Chuck Barris creator of The Dating Game, The Newlywed Game and host of The Gong Show. He was 87.

Death is always tragic, but thankfully these 2 lived long full lives.

My prayers go out to the families.

I had forgot all about The Gong Show. I remember the dancing guy.

And yet another one from 'my' era is gone. Sigh.

Gene Gene the Dancing Machine - he was actually a stage hand who would entertain the audience during commercial breaks, he was brought one once as a gag contestant and Churck and the audience loved him so he became a regular. He died in 2015.
