I am in the last part of the game, trying to retrieve the rods for the core and have solved 2 of the puzzles and found the rod used as a slat in a railing BUT......... I simply cannot do the MEMORY game it moves too fast for me. In January this year Smitty asked about it and Jenny mentioned a thread about this some time back but I cannot find it. Please point me to it - or give me some hope that I will ever solve this one and can 'get on with it'. Would love to see the end of this game. Have enjoyed it very much but I believe it has the hardest puzzles I have encountered yet. Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou, I remember a couple of the suggestions from that thread. Witchen's idea was to have someone else watch with you, so that you record the first half of the puzzle and the other person the second half.
I did it myself, in a different way. Since you get three tries, I concentrated the first time on the first three figures, and the second time on the last three (wrote them down after each one). Then the third time I put in the whole thing.
Also, some configurations are easier than others, so that keeping at it for a while may bring up an easy one.

Here I am again with an off the wall solution. I aimed my video camera at the screen, ran the puzzle, and then played it back slow motion. That's the only way I could figure to get that one although I did consider the "consentrate" on each segment idea. If you want the actual solution let me know. Just wait til you try the "Gold Plates" puzzle ,if you haven't already. It's a doozy. but I have it covered if you need it.
I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

This may or may not be of any help to you but it's the only info I retained on the puzzle relating to the balls and the symbols on them. If you can get past the first two flashes but the third one is too fast for you and you can't do as I did (see my earlier posting) then.....counting the balls from left to right 1 through 8: | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | their sequence for me was #'s 1, 8, 4, 2, 5, 8, 7.
I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Oops! I didn't make myself clear. I can tell the diamond from the square when it flashes on the BIG ball, but I'm not sure which is which on the little balls you're supposed to push. <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" /> Also, if I missed the sequence the first time I would click on the BIG ball to see it again (the sequence doesn't change), but does that "count against me" in some way? It seemed like it did. But then why would it let you see it again if you're supposed to get it right the first time? Thanks again! Tami

Miss T, When you look at the balls that you click on, the diamond is actually the square and the square is the diamond. I know this is confusing as it's a perspective thing. The bottom of the ball is where the handle attaches to the ball. You will find the same problem with the vertical and horizontal rectangles.
The puzzle will usually give you three (sometimes only two) chances to see the sequence and then it will reset to another sequence. And no it will not count against you.
Hugs, Cheryl
