Oldbroad, I didn't really see any difference either. I thought maybe certain things were a little sharper, but overall, it looked pretty much the same to me. I think I'll be fine sticking with the original. I'm hoping that this game does well, however, as I'd like to see them eventually make a Book of Unwritten Tales 3. I need a resolution to that cliffhanger.

That's fantastic news! Very generous of them! I enjoyed this game a lot except.....that awful lockpicking puzzle! Once in it you could not skip, save or even leave the close up until you'd solved it. I really hope they've done something about that. I agree with this! I kept 3 saved games after solving that horrible puzzle, so I would never have to go through that ordeal again. It would be great if they came up with a solution for this and/or a way to skip it.

You know, it's strange, I just replayed that part the other day and had no problem with it at all this time. I think the first time I played it, I had a hard time getting the wire to bend the way I wanted it to. This time, it cooperated without issue. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I played it on a different computer.

[/quote] Couldn't agree with you more Venus. My whole gaming future hangs in the balance waiting for this! LOL. It does seem strange tho' that they have chosen to remaster a relatively recent game which was already pretty good. Those of us who enjoy this genre will already have it so I can't see it being much of a money spinner particularly as it doesn't seem to look very different from the original.

Lynthorpe, I know what you mean. You would think if they were going to remaster anything, it would be the original Book of Unwritten Tales, although that game still looks pretty fantastic as well. Now, if they've fixed some bugs in The Raven (for example, I can't talk to the director in the museum, even though I apparently should be able to), that would be great. I could be be wrong about this, but maybe they are doing this because it costs less to remaster an older game than to create a new one, and they are hoping this will help finance any future adventure games. This is total speculation on my part, obviously, as I really have no idea if any of these things are true or not. Hopefully they'll eventually be able to make The Book of Unwritten Tales 3. They can't deny you your gaming future.
