I have, although it is a bit easier than I like. The usual story of disregarded child growing up and causing trouble in the adult magic world and breaking up the love between a Prince and Princess in the bargain.
Well-drawn, decent length, a little silly stuff but not too much (Why, in pursuit of the bad guy responsible for this tragic tale of destruction and separated lovers, do we encounter a cute puzzle full of happily grinning Jack-o-Lanterns?
). The pop-ups can't be turned off but they aren't as annoying as some. The puzzles all are very easy, except the last one in the Main Game which was a rotate type and pretty pesky! That was fun.
I am doing the Bonus Game now and have a puzzle I can't figure out. It is sort of a 9-part lock and you need to make 8 pieces that are missing, using a machine that molds them. It is pretty straightforward how to make configure the pieces. Then, you insert the pieces into the 9-part grid, pushing them into place with arrow keys on the sides. This works fine, but for three or four of the pieces (I'm out of the game, so can't remember), there is no arrow to use for positioning them. So, you think maybe this is a place where you have to put in the one you need to move and then insert a second piece to push the first one along, you know? But that doesn't appear to work, ether. I looked for a WT or YouTube video, but what I saw only covered the Main Game.
So, I'm kind of stumped. Just wondering if anyone else bought the CE and played to this point? Yes, since I have the CE, I have the
Game Guide, but as usual, it doesn't explain what to do, it just supplies a long series of
C-B-C, 1-4-2, E-F-6, G-3-4 kind of stuff that is harder to figure out than the puzzle itself! HA HA HA I would enjoy solving this if someone could give me a clue about how to "move" the pieces that don't have arrow spaces.
