As I said before, try checking out the player reviews and also the demo for the game. The reviewer pennmom usually mentions collectibles if there are any.

That may have been true of one or two games, but when I look at her player reviews now, she has been mentioning the collectibles. If she doesn't mention them at all, it's probably an older game that didn't have any.

Here's the BFG page for the game. When you look for information about a game on the BFG website, you need to make sure you're looking at the PC version page. The iPhone and iPad pages don't have the complete information. It appears that a demo is no longer available. But reviews are.
Collectibles: There is a drop down box in the top right hand side marked Album, the collectibles are put in here and there are 15 in total with four different scenes Once you have collected enough you can read the chapter. and Helper: A raven and very unobtrusive, he just flies up to collect something you have spotted and then returns No dressing him up, no buying him things for him in a room and no squawks thank is what they posted.
