Just need to say ARGH!! Am closing in on the end of the game and something I zoomed in on got stuck in close up mode and I can't close it. Unfortunately, I need to get to something directly behind it to continue the game and can't. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't help. I have also restarted my computer. I don't like replaying a game that I am just playing so may have to let this one go. Not sure yet. I have the 2nd game too so I would like to get this one finished if possible. I see on Big Fish that people had glitches, some near the end of the game (but I didn't see my problem) so even if I replay, I still might get stuck. What to do, what to do...

duh

How frustrating. Unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom for this. frown

I had the very same thing happening to me with a recent game, wish I could remember which one it was, anyway, the only way out for me was to Open the Map, travel to another area and the come back to the area in question and then making sure Not to zoom in to the problem area until I finished everything else in that area.

That didn't work Starcom which is why I tried the uninstall/reinstall. I will probably replay with a different profile and hope I get to the end. I haven't yet felt like tackling that though. Not really looking forward to it but hopefully it will go quickly.

Well, I went ahead and replayed to past where I had been. Slept. Went in game today for awhile but got stuck on a puzzle and had things to do so I exited the game. When I went back in, I could not go anywhere in the game without it freezing up. frown I was able to open task manager and also on my screen was a error so I ended both the error and the game. Tried a few times, same problem. Looks like I will "play" the rest of the game via the video walkthrough I found. I don't know if it's worth pursuing further or not. I have to think confused on it!

Thanks Marian!

You know how stubborn I am. I uninstalled and reinstalled again. Still froze up but it did advance me to the next location. When the game froze, I went to my windows desktop and closed the error message then went back in the game. I did this 3 times until I was back at the puzzle I had been stuck in. I ended up using the hint button after a short time because I could not really make out the pictures well enough to solve the puzzle. The hint button ended up solving it. All was well after that. So, I guess I shouldn't have exited the game after starting the puzzle and before finishing it.

I looked at a video walkthrough to try to see the puzzle I had skipped but it goes to fast. Even when I paused and replayed the part I couldn't quite make it out because as soon as it is solved the scene changes and there is no time to really look at the solution.

Oh well, I was able to finish the game so I am happy!

Thanks for listening!!! yes

This sounds like such a horrendous gaming experience, and I'm sorry you had to struggle through it! You are more determined than I am. When a game starts to mess with me, even if I can get past the problem, I am filled with dread all the rest of the way through, just waiting for the other shoe to drop, as they say. Not a fun experience.

Thanks for letting us know about this, so we can choose to avoid this game or, if not, be forewarned about it.

You're welcome Reenie. I also get that feeling while playing a game that is giving me problems. With Adventure games I start saving every minute or two if it allows saving at will, which certainly does detract from the game.

I'm quite sure it is not a game you would be interested in anyway. I believe there are 2 of these games and this is the older one. It was quite easy (well, I did play on easiest mode)except one puzzle and the reason that one was hard is because it was too hard to see it properly.
