"Free to Play" is a misnomer, for sure. ha ha "Free to be Frustrated," more likely.
I tried a couple of them, and found them enjoyable, challenging at times, and they drew me into their game world, but you can play just long enough to get interested and then "Boom!" ~ your time is up. By the time you wait long enough to rejoin the game in Free Mode again, you are likely to have forgotten where you are and what you were doing. I have tried half a dozen over the last couple of years, wishing and wanting to see a bit more latitude creep into them, but never observing the reins being loosened.
It is great that some people enjoy these games, but they are not everyone's cup of tea.
