Let's see, this is October the 32nd. Otherwise known as November the 1st.


I hope you all survived the night without any tricks.


The rain will take care of toilet paper in the trees, but eggs on the car is such a nightmare.


We didn't get any of the predicted storms last night. The rain didn't start here until 12:00, and it's been raining ever since.


Now I'm looking for a good day to head hunt. Looks like Friday will be partly sunny and 66.


I also need to check out the creek if it's not buried under leaves already.

Joe, did you get any trick and treaters or did the rain keep them away? I closed all my blinds and hid inside till it was over. Our streets were packed with kids! Hundreds of them! It was a beautiful fall day here today.

It's Wednesday night, and I'm off to sleep. When I got home today, there were maintenance people installing a furnace, which was unexpected. The manager had told us she would call to let us know which day they were going to show up, but she never did, and when I got home, the door was partially open. I'm lucky Saga didn't get out! This is why I wanted to be informed, so I could at least lock her in the bathroom if no one was home, although I hate to do that. Jupiter is always in the bedroom, as the cats still don't really get along, although I brought Saga in here with Jupiter when I saw the door was open, and there was a big gaping hole in the wall she could have easily jumped out of. For the most part, they didn't attack each other, although after a while, I had to break up two potential fights.

And now, I'm really tired and have to get to sleep. I have to be up at 5 am for another reset. I'm hoping this is actually the last one this time.

Good Morning Joe, Ana, venus and everyone. Halloween was a treat Joe. Not to many kiddies, but the little ones were so cute in their costumes! Ana we live in the country, no sideways or street lights so the trick or treaters are limited. Venus how scary! Glad your kitties are safe and didn't try to escape thru the open door! Coffee and tea are ready.

Our ToT numbers have been decreasing in our neighborhood every year...had 5 or 6 last year if I remember...

We walked around the convention center yesterday to check out the area. Get our badges today, do some shopping and then put together our schedule for tomorrow and Friday. Can't wait!

Loads of Trick or Treaters here as usual. And as usual we turned off our lights and let them pass by. Too many, way too many to handle for several years. They come in 'caravans'. 2-3 huge vans and cars, letting out between 10-25 people who do a block at a time and then back in the cars. Most well behaved, so cute, but I can't afford the candy and have given up on the fun.

This morning, found 2 smashed eggs on my fence, sidewalk and who knows where else. I'm investigating and hosing down everything. Might have been some kids throwing raw eggs at the feral cats who love to sit on my front yard and watch things go by. I'll have to check them for egg remains too. Ha. Hopefully, other houses, cars didn't get egged. That yolk is almost impossible to hose off and stains everything. On a car, it would remove paint. Going to check my neighbors now.

Was a fairly quiet night. Now off to Wally Mart for cat food before I get purrrred to death.
