I've found out that you can add a swarm of fireflies to your Relto "if": In Eder Gira you first collect the fireflies, then walk to the floating oblisk thing and link to the balcony overlooking Kirel and then link to Relto. The fireflies will go with you and swarm around Relto. Of course you cannot activate the last Relto page at the Cleft that adds rain to your Relto. If you do, the fireflies go away, but it's a beautiful thing to see the fireflies and the butterflies all flying around Relto. Try it!

I got them without even trying. When I got to the last journey cloth in Eder Gira I still had fireflies. I picked up a helmet, decided I didn't want to wear it, linked back to Relto to drop it off in the closet, and noticed the fireflies came with me.

Was that the fireflies or butterflies? Anyway, that's cool if you did! I've played all the way through Uru, To Dni, & POTS about 8 times and just now figured that out.

You can actually just walk into a swarm of fireflies and link directly to Relto. That's what I did. And they multiply the longer they stay there. But they disappear when it rains and you have to get more.

YW Yes, you can turn off the rain. All you have to do is turn the page on your relto book to the rain page. Touch the page again so the green turns dull. Link out of your Relto and return. That should get rid of it for you.

Yeah, I got rid of the sticks and stones that way--they just made me trip.

Sometimes I think about turning on the rain so my tree will get really big, but I like the fireflies too much.

I have heard that you don't need the rain for the tree to grow. I turned off the rain almost as soon as it started and ended up with a big tree. Think its randomly time related.

I love the fireflies too:)) and always look for them when I link in.

I'm with you Wysewomon. I never click on the Relto page for those sticks and stones. Who wants them? What I do want is tall trees! I dont know why they could'nt make Relto a little larger and the trees taller.

Someone posted this hint (at Uruobsession forums) for getting your big tree to grow - turn your computer clock a year ahead.

jenny100! I'll try it. Does anybody else know any cool things you can do at Relto or Uru in general? I just found out that the imager on Relto shows key shots that I take so I jumped out to the little islands and took a bunch of key shots of Relto. What a great view!!

Hooray!! It works. I turned my computer clock ahead 1yr. and went back to Relto and "presto" I now have a tall tree. I wish I had known about that sooner. Thanks again jenny!

For fun, you could try leaping to the islands around your Relto. I have a great picture of myself standing on an island near the one with the "clock" on it. Have fun!

You should post that trick for the Boomers to see. 'Twas tre cool. I'm dancing madly backwards on a sea of air! Ctrl+4...where'd you learn THAT? By the whey, you can also use ANY JPG image for your imager. Just slip what you choose into the "KI images" folder in the Uru folder. I created an Ummagumma image by "print screening" my avatar looking at the image of my avatar looking at the image.....etc.
That tree trick Jenny clued to was also a hoot.

Yo Yo Yo! I finally got to jump the fense and go out and take a ride on the Zamboni, as Coehlo Buda calls it, at the rainy cleft. True explorers always want to go around the next bend, over the next hill and beyond the horizon. In this case it was over the fense. What a thrill!

You know what's even odder? After 1 year, the tree grows at least 5 times it's size, but in the year "2036", it's the same! And worse news for those of us who will see it, in "2037" the Uru setup encounters an error & shuts down!(WAY too much time on my hands, eh?)
The Zamboni is fun, but I can't crash through the gate!

I only went two years ahead. No change other than that one tree. I did drive the Zamboni over the edge (outer limits) and got stuck in a loop where I kept falling through the roof of the Relto hut over and over. When I went back to the cleft I could jump on a rock and see Zandi still out there. I just could'nt jump the fense again.

Yah, once you crash the 'boni, It's over. You have to do all the steps from the beginning of the easter egg hunt. I ran around in every direction(just to see if there was anything interesting-there wasn't)

You can :Ctrl-1, Ctrl-2, Ctrl-3 to wave, laugh,and clap.

That's a little over my head.

The other night, I tucked a copy of my KI files into "My Pictures" and was admiring them, when I noticed a button that allowed me to select the ones I really liked and send them off to be printed as real oldfashioned photographs. They should be here by Tuesday. Then I plan to frame the one of me standing on an island near my Relto admiring my "clock" and take it to work to show off! I'm sure there will be great smacking of heads in wonder at magnificent Annie!

Congratulations on your zamboni ride, Gymcandy. BTW, have you moved your music files in the game so you can hear them on the music maker in your Realto? I don't quite remember how it's done, but someone here will be able to tell you.

I'll bet those will be neat looking pics. You should put some regular pictures in the Relto KIimage file. You can have pics. of you or your friends on the imager on Relto.

That happened to me, too! I had to ctrl-alt-del to get out of it! I had heard that once you crashed the zamboni it was over, but I thought it would just send me back to Relto...for a long time, I was just stuck with the crashed vehicle, and when I tried to link back to Relto, the loop started.

BTW, I always knew a "Zamboni" as the machine that's used to smooth the ice at hockey and skating rinks. It is just a brand name like Mercedes or something? I didn't know they made RVs.

Zamboni does seem to be a trademarked name, like Kleenex, but the only refs online I can find say the same thing you do..that its an ice resurfacer.

Maybe we should be calling that vehicle a Zandini?

Well, I wanted to drive the ... vehicle...into the cleft, but my hubby wouldn't let me. It was a little anticlimactic, I gotta say. I kept thinking, "Am I going anywhere in particular?"
