I am trying to replay Michael Crichton's Timeline game from at least 20 years ago, so all information about it has long since disappeared from this site, As I recall, gamers adjudged it 'Dreadful' and 'Rubbish' - and they were the kinder assessments.

Neverthless, I am trying to replay it.

I am playing it on a Windows 7 machine using Virtual PC.

Currently the game appears to be generally OK, but I am stuck in the fortified mill and I can't see a way out of my problem. I have reached the part where I am trying to cross a series of planks over the water but I am unable to figure out how to do it. I can cross the first plank, but I cannot get past the rotating beam that blocks my progress. I have tried ducking and jumping but nothing works.

I'd be grateful if any of the longstanding subscribers to GB could help.

Hi Peter, thinking about what I can do to help you out here. I had this game years ago and will confess that I never got around to playing it.

I can find a couple of videos on YouTube that might be of help - maybe take a look at this one here.
