It's a pain to get cataract surgery, but SO worth it! I haven't had to have it yet, but probably will in the future. Good luck with your surgery!

I had one particularly bad eye done in 2016 and the surgeon was keen to do both eyes, but I refused to have the second one done until two years later when I noticed the deterioration: very pleased with the result eventually, although a bit of a struggle to get the surgeon to move away from the idea of perfect distance vision rather than letting me continue to be short sighted with spectacles for distance vision rather than the reverse. Varifocal replacement lenses appear to be something of a myth, despite often being part of the sales pitch! The actual surgery was very quick and completely painless: I hope yours goes well, dianne.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery. Thankfully, they have come so far on great success with the procedure!
