Fellow gameboomers!

Crossword puzzle no. 5.
Might be that the Scarlet Dragon got an edge this time.

Please don't post your solution the next 24 hours. Don't want to spoil the fun for the others.
General feedback, e.g. difficulty level, is always welcome.

Enjoy!

That's a tough one.

I have it. The 5th down wasn't familiar to me but the other words filled it in.

I'm obviously being very dense because I have no idea how to complete these puzzles! headscratch

Actually, having looked back to the answer of 004, I have worked out that I want one letter in each square to form words and how those are clued (although of course I still have to solve the puzzle)... idea

Got it - nice little puzzle - many thanks thumbsup

Must admit I had no idea about that either. Had to search for something to say about that particular combination of letters. lol

Well done and thanks. smile

As I understand it the Anglosphere has some other convention for crossword puzzles. However in my corner of the world they tend to come in this style. Though generally not as compact as mine. But I'm a beginner at puzzle making so better keep them tiny and simple. Also over here the crossword puzzles often contain some image(s)

Yeah.. Dragons are not that common nowadays.

Tolkien, of Lord of the Rings fame, wrote a story with a dragon from Wales...

The "Farmer Giles of Ham"

apparently them dragons were rare aleady back then.
