I'm sure this thread has been done before but what is your favorite piece of Carol Reed music? Mine is the Alvastra Monastery in Blue Madonna. I love that music and I will often load a game from that scene just so I can listen to the music and remember back to January 2011 when I played Blue Madonna. It's especially meaningful to me because that my first Carol Reed game and I've gotten them all since. I like to remember back to happier times when I was much healthier and before god had abandoned me.
Thanks, Mikael, for all the great games and music.
Paul

I like the music that plays in Carol's apartment.

I like that one too. It's pretty much the same tune in each game but it just makes it all so familiar. I like that.

Thank you Paul!

It's interesting that you like the Alvastra Monastery music. Of all the music pieces I've used this far (it's exactly 333) it's also one of my absolute favourites. I later reused it in Bosch's Damnation.

As for the main theme (that sometimes plays in Carol's apartment, but always appear somewhere in some version), it was the first piece of music that I made for the games. Well, actually the first piece of music that I ever made. I didn't know my way around very well in music programs back then, so the first version (which still pops up now and then) was arranged by a friend of mine.

Not sure I could pick just one. But I just looked at my stream deck and one that I like is called "Cactus" and should be from the very first game.
Pretty sure that has been reused as well.

If you want to listen to the music without having to have the game open, here's a link to most of the soundtracks from Mikael. smile

RebKean, that link downloaded a .zip file. You might want to specify that...

oldbroad, when I clicked on an individual file, it automatically opened in Media Player.

Yes, but do I have to click on each one then? And will they stay in the Media Player then?

OK, yeah I didn't think to mention that it's a zip file guys.
There's a free program to open those https://www.7-zip.org/
I use WinRAR but it's not free.
EDIT I also see now you can just use Windows explorer/File explorer without needing to download anything.
Just right click on the zipped file, choose "open with" and choose that. smile

When the zip has been opened, there are no ready playlists in there no, so either as mentioned double click on a seperate mp3 or you can also mark several ones and then rightclick on one and choose open in media player or what player you want to use. I'm sure you can create playlists in media player but it's been too long since I did that myself, so I can't really explain how anymore. lol
