Oh boy Zanthia,
I've been waiting to hear that you're ready to start.
Well, for one thing-levitating is out except in the sewers! But since that seems to be where I am stuck the most, I use it quite a bit; but not as much as in Morrowind. I've been having to use Strong Resist to Poison and Magicka more than anything else. I am still using Staff of Mangus the most, but you'll need more than one item to use. I also wish I had repair skills and equipment, found myself padding around barefoot and without a top or left arm gear just last night-how embarrassing
Talk to the people in the temple area where you arrive; that will give you some quests and picks up the story that Lord Vivec tells you about when you finish the Main Quest. The "Rane" woman in Ebonheart will send you there-she's in the Council Chambers. For me she's in the first hall near some stairways.
I like it here in Mournhold-no Racers yet!
I'm still lost in the sewers, so I haven't been able to check out a whole lot; although I did do some exploring above ground, not all but some.
Pokey and Tami were Right about saying YES to the play
The paper map is a GIANT help with figuring out where to go and what to see. Remember what Tami said about the guy outside of the Temple-I refuse to speak to him. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />
I have found the "bad guys" to be a lot tougher than in Morrowind, in fact I've been killed quite a bit-the goblins are a riot! And you can buy or hire someone or something to carry loot for you-that was my funniest surprise so far.
I've run into a couple of "Romantic Quest" that may be fun. Oh, gee shouldn't have asked, I am having a great time as you can tell.
Going back to Creeper is not a big deal for me-and I get to sell some stuff and visit old fiends.
The merchants here have more money; but seem very tight with it. Haven't found a "Creeper" or "Mudcrab" here yet, doesn't mean I won't
though.
Come on Zanthia, I can't wait for you to be here with us-I may be out of the sewers by then.
Ingie
