Personally the reason i play games is because they give me pleasure and can recreate an environment which in real life i wouldn't be able to have and enjoy. The reason i will keep playing a game is that it gives me constant pleasure without diminishing in the long term. Such as adventure games which have a start and an end, if i like the storyline and the characters and graphics and everything i will keep playing it until it's done. I am into flight sims (currently flying one which came out in 1998-1999) where learning and playing is not limited by an end, so i aim for realism. Also it consistently offers more learning as the things you can learn never end. When i found the realism i stuck to it and still going strong.

All it takes for me is a likeable character and a decent story.
