I just found this game and so far it seems to be a pretty great hidden object game. I think it was just released yesterday. Hopefully my link will work this time :-)

They only allow you 5 hints per level and some objects are pretty hard to see. It has some pretty interesting screenshots and puzzles in between. Check it out, it can be something to chew on while we wait for the much anticipated Azada 2.

downloaded the game and seems to a good game so far , but how are you suppose to flip puzzle pieces on a map you have to put back together?
i figured it out, you use the space bar to flip the pieces

This should be a great game - but I'm finding it to be no fun at all, and it's definitely a no-buy for me. (And I've been missing hidden object games so much, I probably would have purchased it in a New York minute, doggone it!)

The first screen is, as others have said, way too dark - particularly with some of the very dark objects you're supposed to find.

The best thing about the map is that it wouldn't let you move a piece once you got it right - the background was so dark, it took me forever to realize the map as it was supposed to look appears there!

The whole hunt for diamonds thing was a disaster - I got five right off the bat and could never find another! I ended up madly random clicking just to run out the clock and stop the torture!

I then clicked on who to investigate - and couldn't figure out what to do after that. Double-clicking, trying other people - I clicked on the person's name, no go - it seems you must click **right on top of the word Investigate** to get the game to move on.

When the next screen was only a little lighter, I finally gave up.

It's obvious from some of the screens that the hidden object screens could have been light enough to see and that the problem is not with my computer's resolution. I tried both making the room darker, and then lighting up the screen by putting a lamp beside it, all to no avail.

The artistry is really nice in this game, the music is good and the story seems to be well-integrated - it **should** do much better than it will, but it definitely put me off and I will not be buying it.

This is the first game I've come across where I think the beta testers let the developers down - someone should have told them about the problem with the screens being too dark!

GPM, I have found that when people think the screens are too dark, it is usually the monitor and not the game. Try Glitches to see if they can help you adjust your monitor settings.

Hi GPM

In case you decide to go back and play again. If you wait a few seconds the diamonds will sparkle and let you know where they are. You can go back to that area as many times as you wish and get a maximum of 5 hints.

I did not have any problems with the screen but that was probably because the screen on my PC is much clearer than the one on my laptop. I agree the objects are well hidden, sometimes it's best to leave one scene and go to another. By the time you come back to that scene the object you were looking for will probably jump right off to you.

Sorry you were having so much trouble with the game. It's a shame because it is a nice game.

Not this time Ana. The game starts by telling you to use hints when the hard to find are too dark to find.

Great premise but I will pass on this one too.

But BigCityAdventure is wonderful so it is still a great day happydance

I just don't understand what is going on here, I'm sorry to say as it does seem to be a very interesting game, also some other games farther down the screen. I went to the link and it seems like this game can be played with other players or something. There was a list of stats in the upper right corner that I don't understand. I think I might be interested in this if I really knew just what it is all about, beside just the hidden object game itself.

sierramindy, the only way to know is for you to download and try the demo.

there will be people to love this game and people that won't love the game and you could easily fit in either category.

for free it is always best to try the demo yourself and then decide. your eyes might be a lot better than mine duh

love,
linda

**edit: I decided to go back and try again and found a few more items but when I needed a key and had to look for the cancer sign (not a spoiler, the game tells you this) it took me to a soduku game and not even an easy one cry Does this puzzle have to be completed to find the key? If so then I am done duh

I went to the link and clicked on the download button but chickened out when it said there was a risk to run it so I cancelled instead. I only take risks when I know what is going on.

Hi Sierramindy,

Just to answer your question the stats in the upper right corner is for finding the objects online. You will see under the description of each game that it says "play again." You will be given 6 objects to look for, for every item you find the stats in the corner will increase by one.

I know in a later post you said that you did not want to download the game. I just wanted to clarify your question anyway, in case somebody else was wondering about it. You don't need to download the game to do this.

Thanks, Margie, for answering my question. So the stats are personal stats and not a group thing, which is what confused me. I'm never sure what "online" means when it comes to games. In Myst Online: Uru Live it meant you could play with other players or by yourself. So, would other players be playing too?

Hi Sierramindy,

I believe the stats are a group thing since I know I did not personally find 2,700+ objects on their site :-).

From what I gathered by looking at the screen is that the items you find increase the stats by one. But the number you see is a combined number that reflects the items that everyone online has found. That's just my opinion by what I've observed.

Hmmm, interesting and confusing! There can't be 2,700 different objects to find in the game so the count must include the same objects found but by different players. When I looked at the screenshot of the game, I was able to spot at least 2 objects for sure and a few maybes. Is the total score the only contact with other players? I'm still intrigued by all this, but yet very worried about any risks that might be involved if I run the download. I'm just not very computer savvy!

The developers of this game have listened to all the complaints about the game and have fixed many of the issues. A lot of people complained about the game on Gamezebo, you can read their comments HERE .You can also download the game again and get the 1 hour trial even if you had done so before. In my opinion I have to say that the improvements are very noticeable.

EDIT: I was able to re-download on my laptop but not on my PC. I'm not sure if everyone will be able to download again if they used up their hour demo before.

You're welcome,
I was glad to see the changes as well. It's very smart business when developers listen to complaints about their products. It is also in their best interest that their product is seen in the best possible light. The only thing is if you have a MAC you may want to wait until later. Those changes will not take effect until tomorrow.

I sent this message to the manufacturer earlier today:
"I purchased this game for my MacBookPro. I have moved through a couple of the suspects on the list, and have encountered a problem. I was playing one of the puzzle sections (the one where the user must click on groups of gems to eliminate them from the board). Under normal playing conditions, when you reach a point where no more matches can be made, the game refreshes the board and you start again. My problem is this: I had to exit the game briefly during one of the gem matching games. I made matches until I couldn’t any longer, and just before the board was refreshed, I clicked on Main Menu to exit the game. When I went back into the game to continue the puzzle, it’s stuck on the “no match” screen and will not refresh. I can’t skip this puzzle, I can’t get a new puzzle to appear, and the timer continues to count down. This has happened twice now. It’s as if because I restarted the game, it expects me to make another match before it will refresh the board, but I can’t make any matches.

Any suggestions? It’s very frustrating. The first time it happened I restarted the entire game and played through three or four characters again. But I don’t want to have to do that again. Please help!"

And got this reply:
"Hello,

We already fixed this issue – new version will be available very soon probably within 24-48hrs on MacGameStore.com

Best regards,
Ilia Stepanov"

So if you're buying the game for a Mac, you might as well wait until the patch is out.
