I thought the ending was actually much better than I presumed it would be. It's kind of nostalgic and even 'beautiful'. What I wouldn't give to have the same opportunity. Just voicing my opinion to all of you who disliked the ending.

Hi Nsignificant, I loved the ending myself. It was really true to the Lost thematic and storytelling. It was also kind of a surprise ending. I was very pleased with it! smile

Yeah, I did, I was just glad they put a new character in, rather than try to explain why in the world you were playing as Jack or something, this also allows one to see all parts of the story rather than one characters point of view.

I never actually considered

Click to reveal..

That Elliot's bits might have been a flash FORWARD, instead of a flash back; in large part because all the press for the game says it deals with seasons 1-2 only, where there were no flash forwards.

Thinking of that makes it make a great deal more sense except for when he's on Desmond's boat and actually sees 815 break up. Thats still a bigger "huh" than anything I've seen on LOST.

Sorry I never watched the series but I liked the game and the story even though I found iy fustrating in places. It was a weired ending but one he deserved .He paid for the crime murder in a way and escaped but went back .Guess he as to escape with Lisa now .I think on the island they all have a chance of correcting what they did wrong but they have to go the right way about it .To me it was a game with a good story but I guess Id better watch the series now I may think diffrently then but I guess this is one of those story lines where every one could end up with a different opionion .Bit like the experiment in my eyes

It is hard for me to see the game from the point of view of someone who has never seen the series...I am obviously biased by my familiarity and love of the series and yes , as in Lost, also the ending of this game is up to discussion and can be seen from many points of view and that is also why it is fun smile

Finally finished the game *yay* and am still confused about the ending. I didn't watch Lost much, only the first couple of episodes, so it doesn't make much sense to me. Did all the things we saw in the flashbacks actually happen or was it all a dream? Or was he caught in some kind of time warp? I'm confused... besides, after I found out what he had done in the past, I wanted to go straight back to the jungle and give him to Smokey devil He deserved that. Probably on of the nastiest persons I've ever played in a computer game.

I think I wrote my view on the ending in another post..can't remember which one. Anyway my interpretation is that he redeemed himself by doing the right thing and he was given another chance in life. That's why we see him back at the beginning of the crash but in this alternative life she was still alive and he never killed her...so I thought it was quite neat! and yes time warps are a big part of the Lost series!

Ah ok, that makes some kind of sense, thanks Jedi smile I think the game is pretty hard to digest if the player isn't familiar with the show. There are so many things that just don't make sense if you've seen the show only a couple of times without following it closely.

I am glad I could help Jehane! It´s hard for me to see the game from the perspective of someone who is not familiar with the series but I hope you liked the game and that has triggered your curiosity to see the tv series smile

Funny enough, it has *g* I've seen only a couple of episodes and lost interest very soon but maybe I'll give it another shot. The game wasn't what I expect from a game; I didn't like it much even though I managed to beat it. If it hadn't been for that review I had to write, I would have put the game on the shelf after the first episode smile

Hi jehane, I am sorry to hear you did not like it much. Why did you have to write a review? I do know the feeling of playing a game just to beat it and not because you like it...its not fun when it happens but it is inevitable. We can´t like all games out there smile However I understand you had great problems with the graphic card and the movement..that surely must have contributed to your dislike of the game frown

Becky: I'm writing for www.adventure-archiv.com, it's a german website dedicated to adventure games. Writing reviews usually is fun, in this case I was glad when I was done smile Up next is Cleopatra by Kheops studios; really looking forward to that one, Kheops hasn't let me down so far smile

Jedi: Exactly. I think if the technical issues hadn't been so severe, I might have liked the game a little better because it does have its good moments and it's great to look at. Also, the sounds were quite a treat. Ah well. I can't like every game I play smile
