I just finished chronicles of mystery and as I was looking in the game directory I noticed a bonus.exe and it is a game called breakquest. Has anyone loaded and played this??

edit-- you need a password-hmmm can't find one

there was no mention of it in the game- although I did not go all the way thru the credits-- just went thru the credits- nothing there

I have a Polish version of Chronicles and you had to fill a long survey about it on City-Interactive's website to receive the password. The link was provided when you tried to install the bonus game, I think.

Hi, I tried to install but no link was provided--and nothing on the box or manual- I will look at the website to see if I can see anything--or a survey-- just in case someone wants to load it-- I will post if I find a link

Any idea of what this means???? I uninstalled the game and just kept the bonus.exe--- do I have to reload the game and look for a catalogue folder???

I can't find any catalogue folder on my machine...

Does the game have anything like a user's manual or readme you can see when you go to the game folder in the Start\Programs Menu?

I've read both the README and License files, that are seen in the ...\Start Menu\Programs\City Interactive.
There's no game catalogue or any other catalogue to be seen.

Consider that their first language may not be English and by "catalogue" they may mean something else. You're actually not looking for a "catalogue" folder or anything else with the word "catalogue" in it. You're looking for a code -- and it may be anywhere -- in anything that could possibly translate from the Polish word for "catalogue." Or it may not be in the English version at all.

Yeah, I thought of that too, but there's nothing, that even remotely looks like it could be a code.

"Chronicles of Mystery" Breakquest

...but what I found had nothing to do with codes that came with the game.

I went to the site, filled out the questionnaire and got the password immediately. Have the game installed and will play it later.

With my game the only link it installed was for the main site (www.cityinteractive.com), not the questionnaire. I would not agree to this bit at the bottom of the page though, not without knowing more about what it meant

If you don't trust it, go to a free mail hosting site. Open a new account and use it as your e-mail address. Once you got the code, there's no more need to use that address!

Ah, yes. I forgot about that. I must confess I entered fake personal data to obtain the code. There is no need to enter a valid email address in there.

They can still use your IP address. There is much more to using your computer then just entering an email address.
