Springchicken,

Click to highlight the blue mace.
Move the cursor off the coffin and is on the screen and then click. You should have the mace then. Keep us posted if that doesn't work for you.

MaG, that was it! I just didn't do it the right way before. You did your magic again and I'm ready to fly with the Mona! Thank you! :christmas: :happydance12:

I have got Buttercup (the horse) tied up at the gypsy camp. WT says to go right from camp until stables. Take the snowman. Try to take this snowman - but not able to, Mona says "nope, don't think so". So what is my problem here? Hope someone can steer me in right direction here. Thanks so much smile wave

birthday GeeGee,

I moved your post from the other thread to here where your old posts are located.

Have you done this part of the walkthrough:
Dress shop: Look inside through the window. The cross above the door prevents Mona from entering.

Try to click on the cross above the door or try to enter.

Thx MaG - will go try this as suggested. Cheers! smile wave

EDIT: Well, that didn't do any good! Darn - maybe there is something I didn't do that is supposed to trigger being able to take the snowman? Will try to go back to an earlier save to see if this works. Thanks for the birthday wishes too MaG. smile wave happydance

luck Check off what you did in the walkthrough. See if that helps pinpoint what might be holding you up.

Hello again,
I'm at the same spot as GeeGee and having the same problem with the snowman. The horse is at the gypsy camp, I looked through the window of the dress shop, clicked on the cross and the door before andf after getting the horse, tried to pick up the snowman the first time going to the stables and now, got the same response from Mona. I didn't find any discrepancies with the WT. MaaaG!!!

Can you click on the head? I think there's 2 of those snowmen. Check both.

Look around pass the Dress shop, to the nail shop, arena and then go back and see if you can take the head of the snowman

Are you suppose to be able to ride the horse ? He had a boot on and I couldn't get it off.

who can help me please, i am stuck in this lovely game and sad i cant play it anymore. In all of the walkthrough's its written: use the butterknife from the inventory on the cat ( Pyewacket) to cut the collar from her neck. So i dit try but Mona said the butterknife cant be used to cut the collar from the neck ( not sharp enough) and she dont want the use the knife on the cat. So iam stuck in the kitchen, I need the collar for the rats to get the books. Please, is there someone who can help me, I tried everything, to make the knife sharp again.

welcome Linda,

Where did you get this knife? Did you check it in close up?
Did you open a can of food to call the cat?

No problem, Cathy.

The boot will automatically be removed by JerseyLil when she gives you the horse.

I took the knife from the dinnertable, the butterknife and put it in the coffin ( invertory) with the other things. (THe room wih the harnas, the big chair and the table with a plate, the drinking glas with the sto) after that Mona walked to the kitchen and gived the cat the food. So I think this is the knife I have to use, I dont think there is another knife?

I gived the cat at first the food he refused, so I gived the cat the siamese food, and this he liked. So after that I spoke with the cat ( all the way, the whole story line) after that I tried to cut the collar with the butterknife but the buterknife is not sharp enough, but there is no other knife or a thing to make it sharp again.

Linda,

Please use the edit button to add info to a recent post and no one has answered it. Thanks.
Please try again. I think in a replay, it happened to me and I just persisted using the knife.

Cathy,
It happened after you give the key to JerseyLil and she gives the horse to you while in the barn.

I guess I missed that part. I was having a few problems with the CG's and it may have happened then. I'm going to play it again soon. Thanks for your help.

you mean Marjo 's walkthrough? I cant open the file you sended me,sorry. I am not so good with a computer. I looked in the walkthrough you made but there is no other knife, only the butterknife, I used the catfood ( twice, normal food and siamese food) talked with the cat, tried to use the bad on the cat, tried to use the knife for lots of time, and there is nothing I can do. nothing works.
