A new adventure is coming our way! Shades of Violet follows the story of Violet Vendetta and her sister and trusty sidekick: Welma Watson. It is an episodic adventure game of the point and click genre. It features both humor and drama, and places heavy weight on character development. It follows a linear storyline, divided in arcs that accommodate the episodic releases. “An endearing epic journey of adventure with 3d characters over beautifully illustrated backgrounds, about the life adventure of two orphans in a steampunk fantasy world setting." The story in Shades of Violet is divided in four games. Each game is a chapter/episode of the plot, and each chapter is a self-contained story arc. The first episode follows the main characters: Violet and Welma as they uncover the secret behind the creator of the town they live in. Quickly spiraling into a smalltown plot, and discovering her inner powers; Violet investigates the tragic story behind a toy tycoon named Edison Elegy, and his mysterious daughter, Edelweisse. Before long, strange and mysterious individuals are seen around town, and Violets powers become the key to saving father and daughter from their dark captors. As the situation comes to a confrontation, Violet is saved by an envoy of the Vendetta family: A militaristic organization that enforces peace thorough force in Violet’s world. Violet then learns that she’s the long-hidden daughter of the missing leader of the Vendetta Family. She is then forced to follow on his father’s footsteps, and decides to leave in hope of controlling her powers and newfound abilities. At first seeming to be sadly torn apart from her sister by this turn of events and her own personal fears; Welma ultimately decides to follow Violet’s courage, and accompanies her in her journey to the Vendetta’s flying fortress: Graf Bastion. Setting the stage for the next episode Further episodes will develop on the world mythos and the role of the Vendetta Family. The plot will take our characters around the world, uncovering a larger than life plot. Latter adventures will also continue to develop the main characters’ personalities. Both maturing into better selves, and finding their own identity and places in the world. You can see the first screenshots and artworks in our gallery HERE , and a short demo will be released soon. The first episode is nearly finished and as soon as we got news about the game we will post it here!

Thinking out loud: Way too weird, but wait, that third screenshot is a might interesting, I kind of dig it. Maybe I could get to like the rest of it? Kind of the way I felt about Tales of Monkey Island at first, very iffy, but then I went for it and have enjoyed all 3 episodes, but still I will go with "iffy" for now! No need to rush at this stage of the game.
To love is to be happy with!

BUT!!! I have grown careful about episodic games. The first few episodes come out quickly and on schedule, but after that they seem to fade and there isn't always an conclusion. (I also no longer read trilogies, especially fantasy series, until all the books have been published.)
If all the people were heroes, there would be no one to watch the parades.
