After very many years I have decided to replay Pandora Directive.
I have the 6 CD version but have not managed to even install it. My OS is Windows XP.

I've tried using the compatibility button to install it using Windows 95 but haven't managed to get that to work - seems I'm doing something wrong - with Disc-1 in my CD drive (F).
Exact instrucions on this would be greatly appreciated.

I've also tried DOSbox for the first time - but without success.
Is there a good tutorial on using Dosbox.
Alternatively can anybody instruct me how to Install the game from the 6 discs and play the game with my Windows XP O.S. ?

DOSBox is fairly simple once you get the hang of it. and... this is from memory, but it should work.

For XP try the following -

From My Computer, double click your C: drive, right click the white space and peruse to New and select Folder - (name the new folder DOSGAMES).

Click Start, All Programs, DOSBox, Configuration - Edit Configuration - and enter the following 3 lines under the [autoexec] section (the first mount command assumes your physical CD is assigned the letter "D").

MOUNT D D:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
MOUNT C C:\DOSGAMES
C:

Save the configuration file (click File, Save).

Start DOSBox with the CD in the drive and type:

D:\Install

The once the game is installed type:

CD PANDORA
PANDORA
