I am having a clean-up of my hard disc, and want to delete a couple of game files - the 2 Syberia games in particular.
However, as these two games are high on my 'will play again some time' list, I want to keep the Saved games for such an eventuality.
Usually, Saved Game folders are named as such, but the folder that I think is the Saved game folder is called Cmo, and my French is not good enough to work out the acronym.

Am I right?

I am not sure where Syberia put the saves as the games are not presently installed. The current method for XP is in My Documents typically. I'm guessing as Syberia predates XP the saves will be in the root program under program files.

I looked at my collection of saves. They are identified the same in both games. I suggest you look in the game folders under windows explorer. The files you are looking for are named SAVE0000.sav Of course they will be in numerical order 0000 to 0050 or whatever depending on the number. You can just highlight the folder click files/copy then paste them anywhere.

On my Win 7, Syberia Saves are in Users/MyName/My Documents/Syberia Saves.

I would suspect yours would also be in My Documents.

Thanks for the tips. Found them in My Documents as advised and have made the necessary copies.
