Anyone who hasn't played the first game in this series, Awakening: The Dreamless Castle, should do so immediately. smile

I've only spent a few minutes with the sequel this morning, but it looks to be a winner. wave12

I have just completed the one hour demo, and so far I really like it. I think its a winner also.

Someone on the Big Fish forums has posted that it took her a little over six hours to play the entire game, so it looks to be a good length as well. happydance12

Another large file game. I'm waiting for the back up disk. Some day next week hopefully.

I played some of the demo last night and will probably buy it today. Absolutely beautiful graphics! I'd buy it just to look at the scenery. So far the puzzles haven't been obnoxious either. Looks to be another good one....like the first Awakening.

Hi, Ana!

I'm about halfway through the demo and am really enjoying it, but my punch card for December is full so I'll wait until January 1 to buy it.

I loved "Dreamless Castle" and replayed it a couple of times and, so far, the sequel looks to be just as good.

Just finished, didn't want it to end. Time was
6 hrs and 2 minutes.

I wonder how long it will take to get the 3rd one.

Wonderful game - just as good as the first one - maybe even better. bravo12 I don't know how many hours it took but I was up until 3am cause I wanted to know how the story ended but my eyes got so blurry that I had to wait until the next day to finish.
Kathy

I am already ready and waiting for the next one. rotfl12

I spent the whole of Boxing Day afternoon playing this game. Beautiful graphics and a wonderful mix of puzzles at just the right level, not too easy and not too difficult. I am playing it slow, cos I just dont want it to finish. I am guessing I am quite near the end, having also played for 6 hours, but my eyes too became blurry last night(maybe it had something to do with the Christmas Port LOL), so I will finish it today.

And the icing on the cake was I got this game for free. Some kind anonymous benefactor over at Mystery Manor put up three BFG coupons as a Christmas present for us, and I was one of the winners!!

I was concerned that the sequel would not be as good as the original "Awakening". Actually, I think I enjoyed this one even more.

Took me over six hours to complete, variety of puzzles, not too many HO scenes...right up my alley.

I hope this developer continues the series.

As a possible point of interest for some of you here, I will mention that this past Monday, Mudrock mentioned a Collector's Edition that is being released this week--and it's from the same developers as the Awakening series. wave12

The CE is called "Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel." I'm very interested to see this one! reindeer
