Thanks, Ana. smile The developers of this game are the same folks who brought us Written Legends: Nightmare at Sea and Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera, among others; this game is from Vast Studios. Judging from the title, it sounds like we are in for something pretty creepy with this one. eek wave

Just finished the demo, Ana, and once again it's a winner for me. At this rate I am going to have to sell my house to pay for all these new games! smirk

One small criticism - I never heard any music!

There have been a great selection released lately. The developers are really stepping it up a notch.

This was a buy for me. Played the demo and couldn't resist. Good game. Many CE's lately. I haven't had a chance to use up my punch card credits yet this month. Hope there's some good regular priced games coming up.

Great to hear this, Richard. Some folks on the Big Fish forum were saying the game was too short. That certainly doesn't sound like this is the case. I'm a slow player, so what you have described helps me decide on whether to purchase or not. smile

Let us know how you feel about the game after you have finished it, Gail. wave

Hi, Richard!

Aw, gee! What did you have to go and say that for grin ? I've already bought two CEs so far this month and one of them didn't even last 5 hours including the bonus, so I wasn't exactly a happy camper.

I played the demo of "The Secret of Agony Creek" and was really enjoying it when time ran out. I thought I may have enough willpower to wait for the SE but, after reading your comments, I have a feeling I'll be hitting the "Buy" button sooner rather than later.

I am curious about the length of the preview video. I started playing it last night and got called away from the computer. I wasn't able to stop the game right away and, tonight when I started to play it, I only had 23 minutes left. I uninstalled the game so that I could start over but the game still only had 23 minutes and it still had my name on it as a player. But it was odd because it seemed to be at the beginning of the game because it started out asking me if I wanted a tutorial. BFG site said play free for one hour. Anyone else have this happen?

THe trial is not the full download so they have to average what it would take an average player to complete in an hour. WE all play at a different rate.

Also Gatsby, your profile is on the computer with the name your used and how long you played. So, by the time you actually shut the game off you only had 23 minutes left to play. When redownloaded, it used this information so you don't go over your trial period.

Thanks Flo NS,

I assumed that when I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it, it would start over with 60 minutes of gameplay. Guess not!
