I have several of the Broken Sword games and have never played any of them. Is it necessary to play them in order? I don't know how many there are or which ones I have. Thanks, Terri

Count me in too. I love the Broken Sword series. I think the first one is my favorite but they are all good.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I suppose I need to look to see exactly which ones I have. It's been so long ago that I bought them. Thanks, Terri

Although I do like The Smoking Mirror a lot, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars will always be my favorite. It really is a classic whatever version you play.

Thanks for the warning, plumgas. Not sure if I would experience these problems or not, but good to know just in case. I didn't buy it yet because I plan on purchasing The Book of Unwritten Tales first. In the meantime, I'll periodically keep an eye on the GOG forums and see if they resolve the issue.

venus,
If you're only concerned about the black characters in BS 4, I stuck a possible solution in Glitches.
