Mine was the second of the two that Jenny100 shows - bought new and unopened quite some time ago.

Oldmariner,

I have the second one with the blue cover. One of the people commenting had the same problem I did with Evil Under the Sun.

"2) The cut scenes (the video sequences) for Evil Under The Sun are missing. The characters reference seeing something, the screen goes black, then fades back. No cut scene. How am I to solve a mystery if I don't get to see all of the content?"

I had XP when I played it. I might have to try it again on Win 7.

I'm almost certain I bought it direct from The Adventure Company. I certainly didn't order it from Amazon UK! grin

Gil.

Trav

That is the one I had and there were no issues. Perhaps it was a quality control issue where some were bad and others were not. Perhaps the games were pressed in different facilities, one good one bad. Who knows? Stuff like that has happened before.

You're probably right, oldmariner. I can't swear I had SP3 installed, if that has anything to do with it, but it's more likely that some of the games were defective and others weren't.

Trav grin
