This was one of the answer categories on Jeopardy last week so I thought I'd give it a go. This is the same as Rog's movie title run ons.
The title of the first song will connect and continue into the title of the second song. The lyrics given are generally the beginning of the song unless the name of the song was actually included there and if so I went a little further into it.
(Elvis) Well, since my baby left me (Eagles) On a dark desert highway
(Doobie Brothers) Got those highway blues (AC/DC) Living easy, living free. Season ticket on a one-way ride
(Little Anthony) I know you. Don't know what I'm goin through (George Thorogood) On the day I was born. The nurses all gathered 'round
(Steppenwolf) Get your motor runnin (Rolling Stones) Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted I bought them for you
(Cher) I was five and you were six. We rode on horses made of sticks (T. Rex) Well you're dirty and sweet, clad in black
(America) Well I tried to make it Sunday (Nazareth) Heart breaker, soul shaker. I've been told about you
(Janis) Didn't I make you feel like you were the only man (Neil Young) I want to live
(Cream) It's gettin' near dawn, When lights close their tired eyes (Supremes) You think that I don't feel love
(Dr. Hook) When your body's had enough of me And I'm layin flat out on the floor (Boston) I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
(Helen Reddy) You live your life in the songs you hear (Badfinger) Guess I got what I deserved. Kept you waiting there, too long my love
(Ambrosia) I keep thinking that I'm lonely. But it's only missing you inside (Carpenters) When I was young I'd listen to the radio
(The Who) No one knows what it's like (Billy Idol) I'm all out of hope. One more bad dream could bring a fall
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?
