Slyone you have to pay attention when it comes to lap tops. EcollegePC does not do lap tops however Cyberpower does. Several on here say they are reliable. I never dealt with them. However as I said you have to take care. Here is a link to Cyberpower's site. Note the page opens to their
GAMING NOTEBOOK PAGE However, I'd take that with a grain of salt. Please note on that page they have a notebook for $699. There is no way it qualifies as a gaming notebook. When you dig down you discover it has Intel HD Graphics 4000 DirectX 11 Support Integrated Video. The absolute last thing you want for gaming. Worthless is the best descriptor I can think of for that non video card. It could not handle Sims 2. Now then for $839 they have one with, NVIDIA GT 650M 2GB PCIe Video. And $899 another with NVIDIA GT 640M 2GB PCIe Video.
Here is a link to that page
Cyberpower Notebooks Here is a link to the Nvidia 650 info
Nvidia GT650M A link to Nvidia GT640M
Nvidia GT640M This is a start and you can see there are a few below $1,000. Either of these video cards should handle the games you want to play.
As you can see on Cyberpowers site you can customize those notebooks to certain extent. They do not offer a choice in video cards for the two I pointed to and they did not offer an upgrade from the integrated graphics on the lowest costs one.
But keep checking back there are more than a few who can answer questions and point you in the right direction on the choices offered in "customize" section.
I would not trust Dell or HP because often they give you too little info and charge more for stuff you do not want and neither of them charge a reasonable price for video cards they offer.
I hope this helps to get you started. You can see it can be done.
