Well, I outdid myself on yard work today. Got antsy and couldn't wait for yard kid (never know when he will show up) and finally bought some large plastic bins to plant my new 'hedge' thingies. Managed to move all 3 to back yard, dug into my compost pile and planted all 3 in the barrels. Then I was exhausted, but later (like I said, just got antsy) went out and used my dolly to move all 3 to the front porch where they started. Whew. I'm really tired and sore, but I think I managed to do it all without hurting my back. Hooray.

Hey, new person in town, LeBelleRachael. Welcome. But like Joe says, maybe those of us who hate typing will have to find a short version. welcome

Oh, and I forgot for auntiegram: Yup it gets cold here sometimes. Usually it's just chilly wind from the ocean (I'm only a mile away) and the breeze kicks up and it comes into the house. Just need to warm it up with a few minutes of the old wall gas heater and I'm good for a few hours. When I say cold, I mean like below 70. Ha. It got down to 65 overnight and I thought it was freezing. Burrrr. I hate cold.

Good evening boomies. I had a nonstop day and unfortunately now that I am sitting, I feel icky again. lol Just goes to show you if you ignore it, it goes away.

I made a spiral cut ham and a new concoction that was a hit. It was a cheesy broccoli quinoa casserole and I made 2 pans of it. I also made a big pot of beef vegetable soup. I have tons of leftovers and the fridge is full again. I love being able to grab food already made.

The dogs and I got in a couple miles before the storms hit so they were happy. I went to Sams Club, Costco, Lowes, Target and Caputos. Lots of small annoying errands checked off my list and I managed to get in three loads of wash in between errands. That pretty much sums up my day. I had two more errands to do, but I ran out of time so tomorrow morning I will go to Crate and Barrel to get my favorite pepper blend I ran out of yesterday and my green tea bags from Whole Foods.

Did we all have a great day?

rofl - gee , i thought i did well to get some game time in without being interrupted , ana. you did all that , and not feeling well to boot !

i enjoyed the gaming and the peace and quiet after the last few days , though.

my sister does a quinoa dish but it's got chinese flavors to it - i don't know exactly what.

nan , my weather today was like yours , and i tried to stay warm ,too ! thought i would freeze doing the trash ,and it's not even winter yet -brrrr.

see you tomorrow - sleep well !

Niteowl, uninterrupted game time is always great! I sit too much when I have to work so it's great to move when I am not working.

I love quinoa, it's so versatile. I have a standard one I make weekly to have on hand that is herbs and garlic but this was a bit more decadent and certainly not lo-cal. lol

Sweet dreams!
