Yard kid stopped by. Wanted to let me know he's enrolled in his court mandated classes, attending, learning stuff, and the judge was happy with him at his last Friday's court date. Good for him. I gave him a load of attaboy's and hope he continues. Only problem this time was he has yet ANOTHER bicycle. He had had probably 5 or more since I met him. Each one isn't there the next time and his excuse is always the same, "Somebody stole it". Actually I get a weird feeling when he tells me this so many times. I reallllly think the 'somebody' is HIM, and he's stealing (or borrowing without permission) someone's bikes. Sigh. Don't know how to check it but I warned him that if this wasn't given to him like he says, that he had better make sure it's taken care of. Oh well. I did my part. Hard to trust someone after they once lie to me.

Staying inside where it's warm until outside warms up to the 70's as promised. Watching terrible boring TV shows while I wait.

Hi guys. It's been a few days since I've been in the diner. Been very busy and I haven't been on my computer at all. I hope you're all having a good day. I work at 5:00 today for 3 hours, then home and I get a day off tomorrow. Need to vac the floors.

coldcoldcold only 50-60 today brrr drinking mocha chocolate, one of the few joys of cold weather and the other joy -kitty(Buttercup) is making bread on my lap and purrrring. There's one of those nice little green frogs hibernating in a lower kitchen cabinet and just peaceful and quiet. I'll leave him/her there. Wouldn't it be nice if it stayed till spring -yes, all readers, spring will arrive.

Our local grocery store,HEB -you Texans know HEB, is expanding and Wow it's going to be a big store. Maybe their produce will be better now. I suspect they give us old produce from the upscale HEB's and Central Markets because we are kinda rural and don't know much.

Well, home from a great Bible study to find son in bed already. The world must be ending. Then checked the mail and discovered mil is in the hospital. Such a day. Now hubby is reading info about hit man scams via email. That takes the cake and I think I'll take my cake and go to bed. Sleep well all
