In each row, find a 3-letter word whose letters, in some order, can also be used to complete the 7-, 6-, 5-, and 4-letter words. If you'd like to increase the challenge and amuse the rest of us, please answer by using all five words in one sentence. -1. s-a-l-w, -al--p, be---, -o--, --- -2. le-t--e, cl---h, -r--k, --r-, --- -3. -l-a-ac, -edi--, --e-d, --i-, --- -4. cl-t--s, b-t--r, -p-c-, --r-, --- -5. b--di-g, -at-o-, l--e-, ---e, --- -6. vi--at-, s-m-e-, p---e, ---n, --- -7. p--ri-y, -lu-n-, -l-e-, --l-, --- -8. s-r--ny, -o--rd, -h--k, -l--, --- -9. c--r-er, --ris-, -r-p-, --n-, --- -10. a--o-nt, -o-l-n, -r-m-, ---e, ---
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

1. swallow, wallop, below, wool, low When I tried to swallow my wool sweater and began to choke, someone gave me a wallop just below my shoulder blades, but not too low.

Trog became the hero of the dawn of the agricultural epoch by inventing the hoe despite the fact that he was known to not bother with clothes.
------- Please disregard my questions about posting. I finally noticed the big Puzzle Forum Guidelines link. I was looking for a sticky post and so missed it before.

6. vibrato, somber, probe, born, orb A space PROBE flew by releasing sounds of an eerie VIBRATO. It's such a SOMBER moment since this ORB doesn't look like home and I miss the place where I was BORN.
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Well, there's only so many combinations and none of them make words that I can see. So, here they are. Please, which one is the word. tef tfe eft fte fet - Wiktionaryen.wiktionary.org/wiki/fetCached - fet (third-person singular simple present fets, present participle fetting, simple past and past ... (oblique plural fets, nominative singular fets, nominative plural fet )

"Eft" is the one! I think the word might be more familiar to crossword puzzle enthusiasts. Well done, Bob and Flo! And for the record, geeks are my favorite kind of people.
