Brno, Czech Republic – March 14, 2013 – CBE Software would like to publicly thank the whole community for allowing J.U.L.I.A. Enhanced Edition to happen. The basic goal has been reached in less than a week and the campaign is already attacking the first of the revealed stretch goals.
Jan Kavan, CBE Software director, explains which stretch goals are on the table now:
“Our first goal is „Story Expansion“, which means that we will seriously enhance the exploration part of the story. The exploration areas will become larger with more choices and we will also introduce some of the crew members who were left out from the original game as well as optional exploring not tied to the global game story arch.
Our next goal is “Fullscreen Exploration”, where we are going to change the exploration parts to a hybrid between J.U.L.I.A. exploration mode and fullscreen point’n’click adventure game. We will create fullscreen visuals for more than 50 exploration views, currently represented by mini images, and the actions will be issued through contextual menu interface. This way the spirit of J.U.L.I.A will remain but both visually and gameplay-wise the enhanced edition is going to become much more engaging.
Last announced stretch goal is “PC, MAC and LINUX Unity 3D port”. We’ve been asked a lot to port the game to different platforms or to allow for resolution different than 1024x768. If we reach this goal, we’ll port the whole game to Unity 3D and open an exciting new window of possibilities for the game even if it basically means recreating most of the game assets from scratch.”
To celebrate such a fantastic support of the community, CBE Software would also like to introduce a brand new material to demonstrate, what will visually happen when the “Fullscreen Exploration” goal is met.
On the jungle planet Salia 4, players discover an alien structure with a machete attached to it. CBE Software would like to present high resolution version of recreated fullscreen visuals for that situation:

There are still 30 days left for the campaign and everyone at CBE Software would like to thank to all contributors and will be happy to see you at J.U.L.I.A. Enhanced Edition campaign, which is located at
