Well I have to say that this is a good game even though there are some glitches that keep me from being able to finish it. cry I have enjoyed the pretty scenes, the story and easier puzzles (I played on the easiest setting). I am hoping there will a fix coming soon. help It is refreshing to play a game without skulls, dungeons, dreary scenes, vampires, etc. - lol. rah

we have to wait for an update. no one can finish the game. you have to revisit room after room. there is no walkthrough, the hintsystem is of no use: there is nothing to do here, look elsewhere.

I too was surprised at how quickly this update was released. Can't complain.

Even with the update, I am unable to progress any further. I click on hint and it highlights an object but there is nothing I can do with this object and I have no items yet in my inventory....... I give up!

Sounds like it's time to write to Customer Support and ask for a refund/coupon code in exchange. wave

I finished the game and really enjoyed it after the fix. thumbsup There is a lot of help in the forum as to how to find things. There is a map where you can jump from place to place and the hint system does let you know what puzzles/activities are available in each area. I may replay it now that it is fixed and enjoy it from start to finish.

I too enjoyed this game. It's probably not for everyone, especially if you prefer a more relaxed gaming experience. I would recommend taking notes if you can't sit down and play for a long period of time. There are lots of inventory items to find and they're scattered about and sometimes tricky to locate. But this is a nice, long game with lovely artwork, good voice acting, compelling story and lots of locations to find and explore. HO scenes are challenging. The w/t provided by a member on the BFG forum is very helpful. Other than the seed ball glitch (which was fixed in the update), most of the complaints on the BFG forum seem to be a matter of not having the patience to look carefully for solutions. I was left with the bottle of poison though and wonder why since I completed the game without using it. Maybe the original intent was for this to be a CE, and the poison was something needed in a bonus chapter. Just a guess.

All in all, IMO a bargain for a SE.

Note to Rosaboobie: Before you give up, check the w/t posted by a BFG member on the game forum. I had a problem with an Inventory item that turned out to be a matter of my trying to place the item in the wrong place.
