I played for a while. A relaxing sort of game. Fun to watch ... but not forever! The main problem with VF2 is that you can't unlock most of rooms until you hit later generations, at least 5 levels to get the whole house open. This can take a LONG time unless you just let your game run in real time. But to me, what's the point in that? You can't watch the little characters interact or accomplish anything while the game's closed, and I certainly can't sit and watch peeps hours at a time.
Strange. I wish they would have let you unlock the rooms by doing certain tasks or making enough money. Instead, I found myself just waiting for the peeps to grow old and die. Isn't that awful? Quit before I even made it to the second generation. Don't like to have my peeps die.
So I'm not playing right now. What I liked about the first one was that I could make mod changes to the house. I played with the Gimp graphics program quite a bit. Enjoyed doing that as much as, if not more than, playing the game. But you can't really even do much of that with VF2 because of the locked rooms.
